Welcome to Barraba's new website Learn More

Barraba is a country town in the northern inland of NSW. Surrounded by hills, the historic township sits in the curve of the Manilla River. Trees line Queen Street, the main thoroughfare, where many historic shops add to the atmosphere. The town is surrounded by working properties growing beef cattle and sheep.

Located right in the centre of the New England north-west of NSW, Barraba is one hour’s picturesque drive from Tamworth.

Mt Kaputar National Park, Horton Falls, Rocky Creek Glacial Area and Split Rock Dam are just some of the local natural attractions.
