Horton Falls

The Horton Falls plummet 83m from the plateau to the valley below. There is a great view of the falls a short 100m walk from the carpark. The falls look spectacular after periods of high rainfall in the Kaputar and Lindesay plateau area.

You can walk upstream about 250m to Top falls, a pretty spot where there is a waterfall and swimming hole. Bushwalkers can also undertake the steep trail to the bottom of the gorge. This is about an hour’s return walk.

There are picnic and BBQ facilities available and bush camping areas. Camping currently must be booked with the National parks and Wildlife Service. Bookings are required. Book online or call the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757.
